Taxi transport + ferry – minimum 7 hours
If you have decided to take a public boat ride to Vis, prepare not to see the beach until the next day. Namely, the journey from the airport to split ferry port by taxi takes a minimum of 45 to 60 minutes, if you do not get into traffic jams that are everyday in the summer months.
In the ferry port you will find a ferry and a place in it that no one can guarantee you will get immediately. There is a good chance that you will have to wait a minimum of two hours to board, if you manage to get on one of the three ferries a day that run to this most remote ferry destination. So, if you get off the plane at 10 am and at 11 am you arrive at Split port to the first ferry you have to wait another four hours because your first next ferry leaves at 3 pm.
After boarding, you will find an additional two hours and 20 minutes’ drive to your chosen destination. If you calculate that seven hours is enough for you to get from Split to Vienna by car, then you must need something faster, safer and more comfortable.

While driving to Vis in pleasant company you will enjoy panoramic views of all Dalmatian islands from Brač, Hvar and Šolta, and you will pass by the most famous archipelago of Pakleni islands.

Reservation
For transfers, we only use ribbed speedboats to provide maximum security to our passengers. They are used by the Coast Guard, maritime police and the military. The capacity of the boat is 12 people, so if you are traveling in a larger group you will need to book an additional boat.
We also offer panoramic rides, daily trips to Blue Cave including other destinations on the island of Vis from Stiniva, to Budikovac, and there are tours on the island of Hvar, as well as transportation to the Lemongarden Hotel in Supetar on the island of Brač.
